I was excited to begin my Feng Shui Certification Course, it was a few months away, so I found that my teacher was offering mini evening classes on various feng shui subjects. I signed up for a 3-week series, the end of class 2, the teacher announced next week we will explore the I Ching.

I had no idea what the I Ching was, so I wrote it down and home I went. At this point in my life, I was still grieving the unexpected death of my husband Ray. It was a usual nightly ritual to sit in his office on his chair, look around and just feel sad. This particular evening as I sat in his chair, I swiveled around and began looking at the bookshelf. Something caught my eye! A book: “The Illustrated I Ching by RL Wing”! Whaaaat?? What was this book doing here? I do not recall ever seeing it before.  How did Ray even know I would need this book? So, I took the book off the shelf and started to explore. I smiled as I held the book and said thank you to Ray. I felt he was confirming I was on the right path. Studying the I Ching, I then understood why Ray had this book. Ray was a student of Tai Chi, he took classes with a Master in Chinatown NYC.
It all made sense.

I have studied I Ching with many teachers using many different books, and my favorite is still The Illustrated I Ching, by RL Wing.
